Requests for a custom made karaoke track are considered on a case-by-case basis.
- I need a loss-less version of the song - either a .wav or a .flac file ripped directly from the original source. I cannot use an MP3, or anything converted from an MP3 because of the file compression. If you have Windows Media Player you can adjust your settings to rip a track directly from your CD and save it as a .wav or .flac file.
- I always try to preserve as much of the backing vocals as possible, but complex backing vocals may exceed my ability to render a useful track. Worst case scenario is the track will lose all vocals. The most difficult is when the main and backing vocals are the same person. The AI software will usually not be able to discern the difference or understand which is the main voice.
- Vocal cut software typically leaves a faint ghost of the original vocals, however your singing should more than cover it up.
- You also need to provide me with the lyrics, and I'm going to warn you that if you pull them off a lyric site you're going to need to edit it substantially. Those lyrics are often riddled with misheard lyrics, spelling errors, and will omit the repeating chorus. If the chorus repeats 5 times you need to have it typed out all 5 times. It's also helpful if you include any Yeahs! Ooos, or Uh-huhs in the song.
